How Long Do We Keep Your Information
We will keep your Personal Information for as long as it is required by us. Children's Privacy
Our Services, including Echo Chat, are not directed to, nor intended for, minors under the age of 18. Children under the age of 13 may not use our Services. We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information from children. If you have reason to believe that a child under 13 has provided Personal Information to Echo through the Services, please email us at privacy@echogroup.ai. We will take reasonable measures to delete such information from our systems.
International Data Transfers
We are located in the United States and store and process the Personal Information we handle in the United States. The level of data protection may not be equivalent to the level of protection applicable at your location.

Our Website and Services may contain links to third-party websites. Any access to and use of such third-party websites is not governed by this Privacy Policy, but, instead, is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party websites. We are not responsible for the information practices of such third-party websites.

Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information
Under the CCPA, certain personal information we collect and process may be considered "sensitive personal information." The CCPA requires that we provide you with a right to limit our use or disclosure of such sensitive personal information in certain circumstances. Currently, we are not using your sensitive personal information for purposes that would require that we provide you with a right to limit.
California Residents' Rights under the CCPA
If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights under the CCPA in relation to Personal Information we have collected about from or about you to the extent required by the CCPA:
- Right to be Informed. You have the right to be informed, at or before the point of collection, of the categories of Personal Information to be collected and the purposes for which the categories of Personal Information shall be used.
- Right to Know/Access: You have the right to request the following information about our collection and use of Personal Information about you: (1) the specific pieces of your Personal Information collected; (2) the categories of your Personal Information collected; (3) the categories of sources from whom your Personal Information is collected; (4) the purpose for collecting your Personal Information; and (5) the categories of third parties with whom we have shared your Personal Information.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete certain Personal Information we have about you.
- Freedom from Discrimination: You have a right of non-discrimination for the exercise of any of your privacy rights guaranteed by law such as the right to access, delete, or opt- out of the sale of your Personal Information.
- Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information regarding the information you provide us.
- Right to Access Information on Automated Decision-Making: You have the right to access information collected through automated decision-making. Additionally, you can opt-out of our use of automated decision-making related to your Personal Information.
- Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: Request that we do not sell or share your Personal Information.
- Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information: Request to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information where required by the CCPA (we are not currently using sensitive personal information for purposes that would require we provide you with such a right to limit).
How to Submit a Request Under the CCPA
- Consumer Rights Requests: You can submit a request to know, request to delete, or request to correct ("Consumer Rights Request") using our Data Request Form or emailing privacy@echogroup.ai. We may ask that you provide clarifying or identifying information to verify your request (and your agent's authority, if applicable).
We are only required to respond to verifiable Consumer Rights Requests made by you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf. You may also make a verifiable Consumer Rights Request on behalf of your minor child. Making a verifiable Consumer Rights Request does not require you to create an account with us.
When you submit a verifiable Consumer Rights Request, we will take steps to verify your request by email or telephone call. In some cases, we may request additional information in order to verify your request or where necessary to process your request. If we are unable to adequately verify a request, we will notify the requestor. Authorized agents will be required to provide proof of their authorization and we may also require that the relevant consumer directly verify their identity and the authority of the authorized agent.
We will only use Personal Information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Information relates to you.
- Global Privacy Controls: While we do not sell or share Personal Information, we will respond to requests from opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC"). Such requests will be processed as a request to opt-out of our use of cookies that are not necessary for the website to function. Our Websites are not designed to respond to "do not track" requests from browsers.
